Hydrafine®

Hydrafine is designed for use in applications such as paperboard where high levels of kaolin are used in the coating.  The fine particle sized plates create a low porosity coating, which can enhance runnability and print on the sheet.  High levels of kaolin will generate desired gloss and smoothness with limited post coating calendering.

• Enhanced Performance: High kaolin levels in the coating enhance performance in coatings that cannot be run at higher solids due to limitations on machine  ‍
• Wide Substrate Compatibility: Performs well across specialty coated papers, recycled board, coated natural kraft and SBS
