KaMintex®

KaMintex® is a premium-brightness, calcined kaolin designed with controlled porosity that is primarily used for TiO₂ replacement in coatings requiring opacity or as a filler in white top liner to impart opacity in the top ply. The controlled structure can be leveraged in coatings to reduce the overall binder demand of the coating and in white top liner is an effective way to improve opacity and | or reduce the top ply basis weight saving fiber costs.

• Optical Performance: Controlled structure delivers opacity and brightness coatings which can be leveraged for TiO₂ reduction in coated packaging applications. In white top liner applications, high scattering performance drives costs savings through reduced filler levels or reduced fiber consumption.  
• Low Abrasion Properties: Engineered for low abrasion allows longer slitter life wear on machine and cleaner finished sheet  
• Enhanced Print Strike: Enhances print strike through properties in uncoated (SCA+) applications
