Mattex is a high-brightness, coarse particle calcined kaolin specifically engineered for use in interior and exterior architectural coatings where low sheen and high opacity are essential. Its structured morphology allows formulators to reduce or eliminate flatting agents while delivering excellent touch-up, scrub resistance, and uniform surface appearance.
