Lithosperse® 101

Lithosperse® 101 is a surface-treated hydrous kaolin clay optimized for use in sheetfed offset printing inks. Its surface treatment enhances its compatibility with organic ink vehicles, making it ideal for high-performance printing applications.

• Improved Gloss and Print Clarity: Fine particle size + surface treatment = smooth ink films. Enhances image sharpness, especially in coated paper printing.
• Controlled Rheology: Helps achieve desired tack, viscosity, and flow.  Prevents pigment flooding or settling in storage.
• Efficient Pigment Extension: Replaces a portion of organic pigments or TiO₂. Maintains color strength and opacity in high-PVC inks.
• Better Rub Resistance: Contributes to dry film integrity.  Aids in resistance to smudging, especially on high-speed presses.
