Macon, GA – July 18, 2025 – KaMin is proud to announce it has received multiple prestigious honors at the 2025 Georgia Mining Association (GMA) Annual Convention, recognizing the company’s ongoing commitment to safety excellence, environmental stewardship, and meaningful community partnerships.
KaMin was presented with the President’s Safety Award, which is given to the company with the best overall safety record among those working more than 500,000 man-hours annually. In addition, two of KaMin’s facilities were recognized with Safety Achievement Awards for outstanding performance:
- Wrens Facility: 4 years, 11 months without a lost-time injury
- Sandersville Facility: 3 years, 6 months without a lost-time injury
KaMin also received several Environmental Awards, underscoring the company’s dedication to sustainable practices and community engagement:
- Outstanding Achievement in Land Reclamation
- President’s Good Neighbor Award – Wrens
- First Step, Good Neighbor Award – Sandersville
- First Step, Good Neighbor Award – McIntyre
